It's the last three months of the year, so you know what that means: it's time to lock in, go as hard as you can, and finally get those goals done.
Well, at least that's what everybody is saying.
I'm saying it like I have my shit together but I absolutely do not.
What I do know is that I'm ready to change. I'm ready to challenge myself to become the version of me who is already living my dream life. For me, that means learning how to work around my 9 to 5 while making time for the things that will actually move me closer to my goals.
One of my biggest goals is to become a full-time content creator on YouTube. But the only way that's going to happen is if I actually post videos.
And you know what I'm not doing?
That's right POSTING VIDEOS!
I've been more inconsistent than ever, and a lot of that has to do with my ADHD and executive dysfunction. I'm working through it, but right now, I'm still trying to figure out how to wake up at 6:00 a.m. instead of sleeping until 8:55 and rolling over to start work five minutes later.
It's honestly driving me insane that I can't seem to stick to a routine or schedule. I'll create the perfect plan, feel motivated for a few days, and then suddenly everything falls apart. But I'm tired of constantly starting over and breaking promises to myself.
So, from now on, I'm making it my job to show up for myself.

Because here's the thing: if I had another job, I would wake up, get dressed, show up on time, and go get the bag. So why can't I give that same energy, discipline, and commitment to my own dreams?
Why can't I work just as hard for the life I say I want?
That doesn't mean I'm going to become perfectly consistent overnight. I know there will be days when my ADHD wins, my energy is low, or life gets in the way. But I don't want one difficult day to turn into another month of doing nothing. I'm learning that locking in doesn't mean being perfect — it means continuing to come back.
All of this is to say: I'm officially locking in, so prepare to be sick of me!
I'll be posting one YouTube video every week, publishing full blog posts, sharing content on social media, and streaming on the weekends. I'm doing everything in my power to give this dream a real chance.
And even if I don't become a full-time content creator by the end of this journey, at least I'll know that I tried. I would rather put myself out there, make mistakes, and learn along the way than live with the regret of never trying at all.
I may not have my shit together yet, but I'm finally willing to show up and start putting the pieces together.
This is my Great Lock-In.
Let's see what happens.
